Workshop Extension with Insulated Sheeting and Steelwork
Overview:
Our company completed the workshop extension project on time and within budget,
meeting the client’s needs. The project included installing Kingspan insulated sheeting for the roof
and walls, new steelwork for the apex roof over three extensions, insulated guttering, and parapet
walls at the workshop’s front.
Objectives:
- Extend the workshop as per client’s requirements.
- Install high-quality insulated sheeting for the roof and walls.
- Install new steelwork for the apex roof over three extensions.
- Install insulated guttering.
- Build parapet walls to the front side of the workshop.
- Complete the project on time and within budget.
- Use high-quality materials and workmanship.
Scope:
- Site preparation: Clearing, levelling, and preparation of the area
- Sheet materials: Procurement and installation of Kingspan insulated sheeting for the roof and walls.
- Steel work: Supply and fitting of new steelwork for the apex roof over three different extensions
- Guttering: Installation of insulated guttering
- Parapet walls: Construction of parapet walls to the front side of the workshop
- Plant and labour: Provision of machinery, equipment, and workers who worked efficiently.
Outcome:
The project was successful, and the client was satisfied with the high-quality materials and
workmanship. The insulated guttering and parapet walls added extra functionality and aesthetic
value to the workshop.
